We are Here to Help

Team members are proud of our collaboration with and leadership roles in all projects, including the following:

  • Partnership with a comprehensive, multi-campus community college to develop the Employability Smart Start program and design an Employability Skills Course for college credit. The 2011 Community College Futures Assembly administered by the University of Florida recognized the Employability Smart Start program's success as a finalist for the highly acclaimed Bellwether Award
  • Development and implementation of Neighborhood Family Centers throughout Florida in Leesburg, Spring Hill, Crystal River, Lake Panasoffkee, Eustis, and Marion Oaks. The Neighborhood Family Centers initiative aims to engage residents, families, and resources from the broader community to address the underlying needs of impoverished families and neighborhoods to improve children's outcomes
  • Designed and implemented the Gap Project in Circuit 10 serving Polk, Hardee, and Highlands Counties to assist relative and non-relative caregivers within the first 30 days of a child being placed into their home. Caregivers are invited to attend an orientation regularly held in their county and are allowed to speak with professionals regarding issues affecting the stability of the placement.
  • Consumer research for leading corporations to help identify trends that impact product development, advertising, and sales forecasting
